Hello February!

I can’t believe that January has already come and gone. It’s as if I blinked and February showed up… So I have no choice but to embrace my 2nd busiest month of the year. Although February is the shortest month of the year, for me and my family it is jam-packed with events and activities culminating with my hubby’s birthday on March 2… Hello February!

Yesterday we celebrated my son’s 4th birthday with a very small and simple Spider-man themed party. I thought about a super bowl theme because it was Super Bowl Sunday, but he WAS NOT having it.

Anyway, on Wednesday, I will be turning 40… then there’s Ragnar...which will be my biggest race so far. By the way, If your on FaceBook, please “like” our HeartandSole Ragnar team page where you can follow our progress throughout the 2-day, 200-mile adventure…and while you’re there, also follow Defining Hope please :)

And who can forget Valentines day (full with school parties and all). The family will also be going on a brief weekend trip for V-day. The following weekend, I’ll be running the Gasparilla Classic 15K, then there’s my daughter’s birthday…which also happens to be my 2nd year blogging anniversary, followed by my husband’s birthday the next day. Whew!!

You see, I had big dreams for celebrating my Big 4-0 and Blogaversary on the blog, but it’s not gonna happen…at least not the way I originally planned.

Instead, I’ve decided to celebrate my big 4-0 by kicking off my birthday with a 40 Days of Wellness theme that will incorporate both my business and my blog.

40daywellness

Over the next 40 days (during my regular Mon/Thurs posting schedule), you can expect specific wellness posts focused on Defining Health, Defining Happiness and Defining Hope (which is kinda the theme of my blog anyway :) ) except there will be a few giveaways and a couple of surprises…and by surprises, I mean…I haven’t thought of it yet.

I hope you’ll join me for my short, sweet and spicy February Celebration.

Stay Tuned…

  • What is your busiest month of the year?
  • Do you have family members whose birthdays are very close to yours?

AH yes! I forgot this month is your BUSIEST and MOST BLESSED month of the year!! I am most excited about such BIG moments – turning 40? This unbelievable run/race/mission? Those two alone- can be celebrated the entire year through!!!

And then you have so many other beautiful blessings to surround and add to those! I will be praying for your endurance my friend! Endurance indeed!

Looking forward to the month of posts on health/wellness/HOPE!

Happy 40th in advance, Hope! Here’s to a wonderful decade of 40-something birthdays and milestones and good times.

December is definitely my busiest month. Too much to do, too little time. I end up feeling rushed and exhausted. Plus, my birthday and my dad’s were two days apart, so that made it extra special.

WHEW and WOW girl! Yes, you do have a super packed month…I got tired reading it, lol! Yayy on turning forty(that’s my mom’s birthday)! Whoop whoop, welcome to the 4.0 club! :-) And a “Happy Birthday” to your son! And just to think, February is the shortest month!
HA…EVERY month is a busy month around here, lol! But I would have to say May. It’s my birthday, our son’s birthday(the day after mine) and not to mention Memorial Day(all within the same week). Also, it’s the end of the school year at our ministry’s (K4-12th grade) school, so we’re preparing the entire month for the big end of the year awards ceremony and graduation on top of everything else going on at church.
Too funny though about your giveaways and surprises(you don’t know what they are yet)…I know what you mean! 😀 Have a good one Hope!

Happy Birthday to cutie Spiderman! And early to you! Yes, my birthday is July 25th and my daughter’s is two weeks before mine. And my son’s is three weeks before hers! Mine gets drowned out by theirs, though.
I think my busiest month of the year, plans wise, is October. Everyone seems to want to come to New England then for the peak foliage, so we have a lot of house guests. As well as getting those last outdoors weekends in our systems before the long winter. And May/June is very busy, I find. Parades and festivals and farm markets, oh my!

I’m tickled because I remember this busy time for you last year! It is still just as overwhelming for me, just as a reader. My prayers to you while you plan, fellowship, and celebrate all of this wonderfulness! It’s almost time so I’ll go ahead and wish you a happy 40th! I wish I could come help you celebrate! I’m sending a virtual Air Hug! Congrats on 2 years in this space as well. The superman theme looks like it went really well.
