Sharing my profession

I’ve been participating in a week-long blog challenge sponsored by Joi, The Rx Fitness Lady. Today is day 4 and the prompt is to include a Vlog, Video or Podcast. I was nervous about this challenge because I figured it would be the most difficult. But after a quick Google search, I realized it was actually quite simple to insert a video into a post. (Who knew?). Since I didn’t have a  video of myself that I wanted to share nor did I have the time to make one, I’m sharing the next best thing: One of my favorite Youtube video by internationally renowned author and speaker, Dr. Wayne Dyer about the current healthcare crisis in our country and how the chiropractic profession is helping to make a difference.

I hope you enjoyed the video and a glimpse into my profession. If you’d like to learn more about chiropractic or watch actual news reports of chiropractic making a difference, feel free to click on any of the links below. And if you don’t have a good chiropractor as part of your health care team, I hope you’re inspired to consider researching and adding one.

I will definitely be sprinkling more videos into my post after I Google how to embed non-Youtube videos :) . Are you vlogging or using videos in your post? Do you actually watch videos on people’s blog?

Yes! I am starting to vlog more and more, it doesn’t take much time and once you get used to it, it’s really kinda fun! Most times I don’t sit and watch vlogs because I am at work but I LOVE to listen to them! I usually do it while I’m multitasking. Loved learning more about your profession!

Thanks Nellie. That’s so awesome that you’re a vlogger Nellie! Every now and they when I get a chance to peek at a video at work, I plug my head phones into the computer. lol (not a good look while on the job :) ) Excited to do my first real vlog.

Girl – try a blog – they are SO fun! I haven’t done my post yet for today…hopefully this afternoon :) I LOVE my chiropractor – I actually see two. One, a pretty regular one, for adjustments and also a sports chiropractor that helps me with CrossFit and running issues. He does some interesting things – finds triggers from other issues that cause things to act out. Anyways – love this post! :) #MBC

I’m looking forward to doing one. It’s so great that you have a chiropractor (or two) as part of your health care team. A lot of people don’t realize that there are specialties within the profession..for sports, kids ect. Thanks so much for coming by.

I am so inspired. Following you has changed my outlook. This video was a great promo for your profession.

I immediately clicked on the quack link after watching the first one bc I must admit, I’ve heard so many things negative comments like that. I LOVED video. It pretty much blows that trash out of the water. Why didn’t you use that one? I mean I love this as well, but she murdered him with his self righteous comments. Ok, anyway…I’m so down for making an appointment now not bc of the quack video, I’m just really drooling at the experience now.

See, that wasn’t so bad! I had to figure out how to insert one as well. That is just as much a lesson as talking to your readers on camera! YAY to learning while #MBC partying!

I wanted to put the Quack video first but thought maybe it was too long at 5 mins vs the 2 min promo video. That’s one of my faves also. Maybe I’ll give it a post all by itself…now that I know how to insert them. lol. I know that there are negative perceptions out there, mostly from those who’s never experienced it. I think you’ll enjoy the experience. My next hurdle is to actually speak to my readers on camera. Yay! #MBC party over here 😉
